Just picked this up from the LCS today, very curious if you think it's authentic (and which variety it matches.) Personally, I feel like the details are a bit too cartoonish to be genuine. Weighs 8.6g and is 28.5mm in diameter.
There are over 350 different varieties of Connecticut coppers and the engraving quality varies widely.
Looks Authentic to me... here's one I sold on EBay for about $30. Mine happened to be a "Bust Left", and not Right.
Thanks to everyone for the insight. It helps that this could be genuine (as the 1775 GB Half Penny I bought in the group is most likely a contemporary counterfeit, and that was IMO the most potentially valuable item in the group.) Not bad for visiting the LCS and poring through the world coin boxes (because things get misplaced all the time.)
