Can anyone recommend a good coin shop in Eastern MA?? Most of my coins have either been inheritied, found in circ or bought on Ebay. I want to pick up a few high(er) dollar coins but would rather do so in person so i can see the coin. Can anyone recommend a shop to check out?
Northeast coin in the Boston area... Goggle them on the web and visit their site. Pretty good dealer!! RickieB
this is who I would recommend. In fact there are few of my competitors that I hold in as high a regard as I do JJ Teaparty. There offices are right down town, I believe (I only deal with them at shows), and they are a classy outfit.
Make it three. I"ve ordered from them online in the past and been very pleased. Not cheap but quality for sure and I live in Indiana!
I'll have to check them out after the holidays I really want a 32-D or 32-S washington. I'm a silver washington collector, so those are my top tier coins to own.
You may want to get in touch with them first to see if they have what you're looking for. info@jjteaparty.com JJ Teaparty 49 Bromfield Street Boston, MA 02108-4110 800/343-6412 - 617/482-2398 FAX 617/542-0023
With coins like these (rather common, but key-status coins) most major dealers will have them in AG3-MS64 on and off with great regularity, so it is just a matter of timing. Make sure the timing works for you. the good news is that they trade frequently enough that very good pricing data is available, so there shouldn't bee too much pricing discrepancy between one reputable dealer and another.
