    Judging by the pictures I've seen, I'm impressed by the condition of the notes. I know that in most homes, money left in the walls would be chewed by critters, or damaged by Mother Nature. The lady owns a solid home.

    Some of the more thorough articles indicated it was all sealed in METAL boxes. I imagine that kept out the usual insects and rodents.
