Wish I had seen that one, Ron. Believe it or not, I have a 1920 WLH that is almost as nice as yours, and I have a few others but from the later 1940s. BTW, I checked to see what I had to pay for that 1920P WLH... $62.75 incl shipping.
Nice, I always thought the barber was a very "noble" looking coin. I only have a few but they're one of my favorites!
Agreed. Not sure if anyone caught this, but the flip is labeled 1906 and it's an S. I noticed, but not knowing the mintages off the top of my head I didn't realize those retail for $25+ in VF until I got home. (Edit- though I have to admit I'm kind of glad I didn't have my phone on me that day to check prices. )
I have not posted in here for a while. Even though I've made a bunch of purchases, just been too busy. I did pick these up today and I'm sure @Paddy54 will appreciate them. I over paid but I could not resist as I have not owned one of these before. Plus they were both sequentially numbered and just could not separate them. They are both chewed up MS-62's but they both have gem quality reverses. the first one has a 66 reverse easy. But both have really nice flashy semi-PL fields. I love the toning on the reverse that the holder is imparting on both of these. I paid $42.50 each.
Another Gem 1888-O I snagged at a show today. I paid $45.00 and did not haggle one bit with the dealer. He obviously was not aware of how a weaker struck O Morgan from this date could look.
