Here is the reverse reference for fs-101 and fs-102,
If it doesn't match then I would say that it is ddo-014.
There are 26 DDO's for the year. The only other one that seems to have a die clash on the bridge of the nose is 26
    DDO-004

DDO-026 which is also a minor DDR

I finally got it nailed down. It is fs-103, die stage B. As of now PCGS has none certified in any grade. This is exiting!!! Question, if I send this to PCGS will this be the plate coin for the variety? This is truly a rare coin!!!

No, I don't believe they will. Sorry to bust your bubble, but this from PCGS site pop report.

    pcgs:

    391371 1946 10C DDO FS-103 MS 2@64, 3 @65, 1@67
    1946 10C DDO FS-103 (Regular Strike)
LEVEL: Minor Variety or Die Variety

The selling price of the variety in 65 looks about $22 +, and the slabbing would be normal price + $18 for the variety, so I would hold on to it. Jim

I was hoping for visual aid, die markers etc. When I pull up related coins on PCGS I don't get any auctions just the population in each grade, what am I missing?

I want to point something out. Do you all see how "flat and shelflike" much of that doubling is? I hope this is the last time I have to hear that bromide repeated when it's strike doubling, because that never tells it. This is a nice doubled-die.

Yes , but I have seen quite a few coins from the 40s that have been both DD and MDD, so you are correct, and I am sure if you had such a coin in hand, you would see both. I do wish that when people post more than one photo they number it or something, so it can be referred to properly. Posters that continue to add new photos without saying what they are trying to show are really confusing. Jim
