I'm not a huge bill collector but I always check them. Today at the bank i received 2 1950 10 dollar bills. One of them is a star note. Some tight wad is final spending their graduation money I guess. SO any added value on these other than face? Thanks! E07444033* A05848833C both B series
I consider them keepers regardless, but could you give us the series letter too for each note? Thanks
I'd keep them both. The A-C lists at $40 in CU The E-* at $150 in CU. Not CU notes here but still added value and an unusual find.
YES, is the short answer "to any added value on these other than face?" cool notes, and at face value too.. i am super jealous! In the pics, the top notes looks pretty beat up, at least compared to the bottom note, but being a Star note, i would think it would carry a higher premium over the bottom note in the condition they are in. Nice finds :thumb:
I assume this means the Star note is a 1950B. According to here http://www.uspapermoney.info/survey/1950stars.txt The site owner does not have any responses for 1950B star notes from Richmond yet. OP, you should make a better scan of the star note and upload it here.
Yes, the 1950 star note is a B series. I wish i had a scanner for better photos, but all I have right now is the camera on my Macbook. Think my roomate has a nice digital camera though.
