It has no copper on it and it looks like a steel penny. But I don' know anything about coins so I'll take your word for it
Doesn't look anything like steel to me in those pictures. Not that a 1962-D cent would have anything to do with steel anyway, unless somebody had plated it it with steel for some unknown reason, and that does not appear to be the case. I see nothing unusual at all here. One cent. And it totally looks like it is indeed copper. It's just a "spender" - worth face value - unless you just happen to think it's worth keeping by virtue of being 56 years old. That's all. BTW, I deleted the duplicate post about this same coin.

It's worth face value. A fairly nice cent for the age but it's copper and looks nothing like a steel cent. Do a search for 1943 cents and you'll see the difference.
