Here's a hearty mountain of Tagliatelle al Ragu Bolognese from lunch earlier this week... posted mainly because I want to get the thread off the balut at the top of the previous page ... Yum...
Heck yes to this resurrection! I have been all about Gnocchi the past few days. Let's go with Trajan!
This was by far the most flavorful dish I have ever had. Since I have a very dull sense of taste, the fact that I could feel all of the flavors jumping out and mixing together should mean a lot. It was eggs Benedict on top of salmon on top of an English muffin. The restaurant was Peck 42 in Brussels, Belgium. 12/10 recommend. Also, I really love waffles. Favorite coin.
I'm a bit of a latecomer to this one. I must have missed it back in 2016. Anyway, I noticed there were some recent additions so here's my favorite Vespasian Roast Beef sandwich with horse radish sauce.
I won't ask if you're a vegan, zumbly. But I do hope that you, and your better half, don't break your teeth on the Coin Prata !!!
Babi Panggang, lean roasted pork in a sweet sour sauce, served with rice and atjar Its in the top 3 at the Chinese restaurants overhere in the Netherlands. My wife doesn't like it, but my mother in law and I love it, so we eat it every fortnight. My wife likes Loempias special (wrap with taugé , chicken, vegetables egg and ham)
When I was in Mumbai for an assignment, I loved the foods but only for the first 20 seconds before I head for iced tea or iced water! They were too spicy - even when I asked them to make it mild! Hahaha. Once, I saw desserts (thin soft baked biscuits) among one of the hotel's spreads and I saw red "dots" in them. Now normally, anything red in Indian cuisine means SPICY. But I said to myself, "Nah... this is dessert." Famous last words....
Try a nice glass of milk instead. Milk contains casein. This bonds to the capsaicin, which produces the spiciness. As a result...bye bye burning sensation. Other dairy products contain casein as well and should also work.
Oh, yes! Yeap - I've been told that. But I guess milk did not come to mind during lunch and dinner times. Wait.... I thought this was COIN-talk! Hahaha.
Lately I've been craving a Caprese Panini Sandwich Buy my favorite is still BBW beef ribs. Can't find any in town but there's a nice place in Williams, 30 mins away, thats has good ribs.
Today I'm in the mood for Wienerschnitzel and Spaetzle. Maybe with a little brown gravy.
