I have to stay with pareidolia, unfortunately. Perhaps the below links will help you understand why.... https://www.livescience.com/25448-pareidolia.html https://www.psychologytoday.com/us/...-see-faces-when-there-are-none-pareidolia?amp
Oh LordM...is this you "punking" us because of your new status??? I would expect this of others (read: Jim) but you!!!! Shame on you!
Coin collecting is not all about one coin, it is about a collection of coins. You are just beginning, put the coin somewhere safe. And continue to look at more coins, the more you see, the more you will understand about the Minting process. Happy Hunting and welcome to CT.
KooIts fine Thanks for the info but im pretty sure its not pareidolia. Its a die crash. http://www.error-ref.com/?s=die+clash
Its a mutiple part 4 die crash. You cant see it on the picture. If you see it in actual coin ypu will see the die crash.
I too enjoy BlueRidgeSilverHound's videos. I find them most interesting, much of the time. He keeps me up on some new varieties and generally has good information. I think he presents most of the subjects he discusses in an entertaining fashion and I'll continue to check him out. Some others on there I could do without though.
Fair enough. Perhaps you could add arrows to your photos to point out exactly what you're seeing on both sides? Not every little thing but only the previously mentioned main design elements.
