Do you think this is worth it?

    Hey everyone, I just bid on this 1876 $20 coin and am willing to go up to $5,600 to complete a part of my collection. What do you guys think?

    Personally, I'd never bid on a coin like that on ebay - too much to risk. Besides, the opening bid is the highest one of those has sold for recently.

    Nice coin, as for value, your research should tell you.
    Also, it is better to post this in the what's it worth or US conis section, you'll get more responses.

    Greetings and Welcome to the forum.

    WOW, that's a beauty. I don't see a problem with purchasing the coin, it's graded by PCGS and you'll save a MINT on auction fees charged by Heritage. But, you're the expert and will have to do you're own DD.

    Check out Teletrade you can go back a long time and see what they have sold for.
