I have some 1982 and 1982 d pennies but I am not quite sure which ones are worth keeping. If anyone can provide me with a quick insight on which pennies I should keep and what are they worth, that would be great!
Welcome to Coin Talk. There are 7 varieties of 1982 cents. Check this out. http://www.lincolncentresource.com/smalldates/1982.html And here a link to a thread here on Coin Talk from 2009. https://www.cointalk.com/threads/a-guide-to-1982-lincoln-cent-identification.55647/ Should give you an idea of what you want to save.
Kurt is correct post #3. There is a slight premium for small date 1982 Philly and small date 1982 Philly zinc. But condition is paramount. The 1982-S is a large date proof only that has value. There is only 1 1982-D small date copper. Over 99.9% of the large dates and D coins from this year are worth 1 cent. Again going back to post #3 they would have to be mint state, and even then this is the most common coin in US mint history, possibly the world at 17 almost 18 billion minted, there's really no market except for the finest examples/ errors.
