You get a box, and all the 'enders' look like 2017 (or '14, or '15), or anything, that the box looks like it's 100% same coin. How many rolls do you go through, before you decide 'enough'? I thought this .05's was like that, but I did find a '63 (I was SURE it was '64 when I saw it), and a '75 first 4 rolls, so I gotta' do the whole box. I did have a box of '17 D .10's a few weeks ago, NOTHING but '17 D in 7-8 rolls, enders looked same. I looked no more... But, if they're all same coin after a couple rolls (and top + bottom 'enders' look identical), how many do you look at?
When I buy a box of coins I search every roll even when I'm not finding anything cause you just never no. IMO Dave
I got a box of CRW about 3 weeks ago and the first 5 or 6 rolls I opened had this terrible white stuff on all the coins,I opened acouple more same thing. I didn't stop, I just couldn't stand that there might be SOMETHING good in there. But I've never gotten a box with All the same coin. If I did,I'd have to open everyone, you never know.
I have been going through many nickel rolls as well. I keep going through them because, as Dave said, You just never know. Then again, I search earlier nickel rolls, nothing after 1964, in the hope that I will find a full stepper or two.

It depends on what you are looking for. If the first couple rolls are same date and the Enders in the rest of the box are the same then it’s safe to say the entire ox is of the same year. I would look through them all myself. It’s the full steps, it’s the errors, new or already known, it’s the high grade ones as well. You might want to throw something else in between checking all those new rolls so your eyes don’t go nuts.
