Has anyone ever noticed that Lucius Verus is the only legitimate Emperor of the first two centuries a.D. whose exact death date (most probably around February 169) has not been found important enough to be recorded? Here are Sestertii of his father, Aelius Caesar, a "gay and voluptuous nobleman" (Gibbon) adopted by Hadrian, and his wife, Lucilla, daughter of Marcus Aurelius: Let´s see your bronzes of Lucius and his family
