Everyone seems to love the Texas. I like this one for the golden toning (my pic is not as golden as the coin actually is). So what do you think the grade on this puppy is?
The reverse on these is really interesting. The dies have a circular pattern of texture near the rim and what look like die polish lines going thru the wings. Could those be lathe lines? Fun coin.
Yea 65 I like these but the reverse is too busy imo. If only they left the photos of Houston & Austin off of the coin. Maybe just kept the engraved names there instead. Idk

MS 65 I really like that nice light toning I myself am working on collecting complete set. some super expensive and can't start the gold. almost got all of them up to 1936. Beware on EBAY these coins from Sweden for $19.99
64 most of these commons never really circulated more of a saver for many people that's why all I look at are hardly worn, but correct me if I'm wrong. also very low mintages
