two morgans.

    These are two of my uncommon morgans, how would you say they grade, i realize the CC is pretty warn, but it is a cc.

    1879 Carson City

    I'd give the Carson City Dollar an AG3 and from what I can tell I'd give the 1901 Morgan an F12.

    I agree on the 1879 CC, but only a fine on the 1901?
    I would have thought at least a VF or better.
    But, perhaps that is why I try to avoid Morgans.

    badfish, maybe a little less background and more coin and they might be able to see the coin better to grade a little more accurately.

    here are two more of the 1901. If you had to get rid of one, which would it be? Would it be a fair estimate to say the CC is around 100 and the 1901 around 50-75?

    I believe you're right Frank. Now that I've seen better pictures of the 1901 I'd give it a VF.
