No, but if Elon Musk is signing up old guys, I'm game.

Ask Musk if a few of your ashes can go ( in a plastic film cannister of course).

    Are anco coin tubes safe?

On the bottom of the tube there should be a triangle with a number inside, that is the recycle number and indicates what it is made from. Numbers 2 and 5 are the numbers for the safest plastics and the structure to be rigid tubes. Numbers 1 and 4 are safe, but not the rigidity for tubes usually. 3 is PVC and probably safe in short term if it a rigid structure with no plasticizers. Jim

Mine has no triangle, just a 100 on the bottom and the brand.

If it is rigid, most likely it is safe. You could do chemical tests on one, but I would use it also for storage. Jim

Jim, I see those older Anco ones with no recycling label quite a bit. Most are leftovers from the 1960's roll hoarding craze era.

It must be one of those but are the super old ones safe?

Yup. Sniff it. If it doesn't smell plasticky, it's fine. If it once had weed in it, you'll know.
