Hi, I have owned this 1860 penny for a number of years but am not sure of the variety. I know it is a tooth border but that is it. If you look closely the "I" in BRITT is not straight. Anyone with any ideas? The coin as you can see is almost unc. Also any idea of values etc? Thanks

    Welcome to CT @mather!

Beautiful coin. I’m fairly ignorant as far as answering your questions. Thanks @alurid for the link.

How refreshing to see a title with “penny” actually referring to a penny and not a cent!

I have to say that it looks like a beaded border to me
