I have a few 1939 nickels and wondering if any of them have the reverse of the
1940 nickel....Well, I have been looking at the two of them and maybe cause my
eyes are bad, but I can not tell the difference .....Can someone give me a clue
as to what I should be looking for? And thanks ahead of time. :)

If no steps are left, look at the s in pluribus. In the reverse of 38, the top is rounded, on the reverse of 40, the top of the s has a serif.
