does this not look like the truest copper nickel anyone has seen? If so can I get any approximate value on it?

No.. Not struck on a Copper Planchet.
It's a result of Environmental Damage
I Metal Detect and have found hundreds of examples such as yours.. My finds -

I also collect Mint Errors.. 31 years worth
A Nickel struck on a Copper Cent Planchet would be smaller in diameter and thinner.
Here is an example from my collection -

Your Nickel is worth just 5 Cents

While nickels are 75% copper and 25% nickel, the metals are alloyed, mixed together, to give it that nickel/silvery appearance. A nickel will almost never look copper that isn't environmentally damaged.
Except, if it was an error and it was struck on a cent planchet, or
if the nickel planchet was improperly annealed.

Value? About 4.8 cents, give or take a little.
