Yesterday, I was at an auction at the local coin shop, and i spotted an 1803 large cent. A coin that I needed for my type set. I havnt auctually recieved the coin yet (most likely I will be able to pick it up tomarrow) but just after spending about 20 minutes trying to grade it while in the shop, I decided it was around an f-12 or higher. So i then went ahead and paid 78.75 for it. Once I get the coin, I will post pics. But, if it was f-12, did I get a good deal?

I would say, "YES"... Not bad at all. :)

    Leadfoot there is no spoon

If the coin is relatively problem free, you did fine. It really depends on the coin though.

    Looking forward to the pics...Mike
