1988 P NICKEL M ON MONTICELLO BLOATED

See how the M is bloated? What could have caused that? Anyone know?

I don't know for sure, but I would hazard a guess that it has something to do with being struck by a deteriorated die. That thing was getting close to it's last leg I think

 

Agree with furry. Has the orange peel effect of a badly deteriorated die.

You keep whatever you like but I personally wouldn't waste the flip/staples on it.
