I’ve been wanting a 7070 album but I don’t know if that’ll be a good long term holder. I feel like that’s the best way to show case every series.

The 7070 is a nice album. A few of the slots are a bit off in size and it doesn't have all of the types, but it's ok. If you're doing circulated raw coins just for type it's a good long-term album. If you're going high end I'd just do slabs and keep them in trays or something similar.

I am doing a uncirculated type series so is it best to keep them in airtites and show cases like that? Or dansco

Up to you. Some of the issues in the 7070 are quite expensive in MS grades. You can buy a slip case for the 7070 that will help keep coins from toning.

Personally, I'd slab any of the pricier issues, and then you have the "problem" of having some types in the Dansco and some types in slabs. What I do is collect what I like for US, but if I happen to come across cheap and attractive circulated types (or uncirculated cheap types not worth slabbing), I put them in my 7070.

Also note, there is an optional gold page for the 7070 for the majors that you can order from Dansco, but it doesn't come with the 7070 by default.

Airtites and a coin cabinet is my goal. I have a cheap cabinet now but am looking for a nicer one. Desiccant packs in each drawer.

I have always liked type sets in Capitol Plastics holders. You can custom design one, so it will work any way you decide to go.

They show both sides of the coin and they look nice.

I am putting together a graded type set (holders) and a circulated type set. I'm not spending much on the circulated set and putting the coins in a Dansco.

I'm strictly a "slabbed coins" collector.
I used to use Eagle slabbed coins albums but they are a bit clunky and take a lot of room.
So now I just use Intercept Shield coin boxes.

@Paddy54, tried to Google brokencabinet.com - no results. Was this a coin dealer that went out of business?

No a cabinet maker the link worked for me.
Go to coinzip.com there's a link that will take you to what they make.

I did that, they're a coin dealer, no cabinets for sale, but I wish they did sell the one they picture...

There is a company who has an ad on coinzip that makes these custom cabinets. Let me research it and will get back to you.
