OK, this auction is listed in the paper money error category, the seller even states "Attractive Consecutive Error 1995 $2 Star Notes " in the auction description, but for the life of me, I cannot find anything wrong with the notes he has pictured. Maybe they quality is just too low, but I"m curious if anyone else here can find anything wrong with these notes (other than the price that it's been bid up to). http://cgi.ebay.com/2-Consecutive-1...oryZ3415QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
got me. if the error is a small one, the pics dont help.. Also, why wouldnt the TPG note the error or even that it has an error onthe 'slab'? the price doesnt surprise me for the condition, and that its graded as such... but i would be surprised if it goes too much higher. I placed a bid to see if i could hit the max reserve, but didnt... im not sure his reserve, but i dont see it getting hit! lets see if he hits me with a second chance offer.
The error is in the listing. Calling these errors is in error. Hey, at least mine had something you could actually find.
well, i was the highest bidder at the end, and so far no second chance offer... so maybe he really thinks there is an error somewhere. i thought that if he was just trying to make an extra buck, he would send out a second chance offer... one never knows with these types of Ebay sellers!!!!
he was being sarcastic, meaning the lister made the error by calling these notes erros... meaning in reality they are not
As far as I could tell, there was nothing wrong with the notes. I think the seller misunderstood what the star signifies.
No, you? Never! Lol, maybe he thought that the stars signified that they were error notes, and not that they replaced errors? Only thing I could come up with. Phoenix
that is a possibility i guess. Here i am being so skeptical about a seller on Ebay now why would i be like that ... ???
