Old Whitman Folders and some coins

    I was going through some stuff that I got from my Dad's when he moved out of his house, he had given me a bunch of stuff so he didn't have to throw it out. Anyway, I came across some old Whitman folders from when I was a kid in the 80's. The quarter and dime folders were empty but the Nickel one had a few Nickels from the 60's. The penny folder which went up to 1974 contained about 20 wheat pennies which is more than what's in my Littleton folder that I currently am trying to fill. So I nearly doubled the amount of wheat pennies I have. Anyway, I thought it was neat to find these from when I was my daughter's age and thought I'd share.

    If you want to see how your daughter embraces the numismatic world, take her to some coin shows close by your area. The thrill should be evident with a couple of visits !

    I know, I don't think he even knew they were in there. Was in a box with a bunch of books.
