Ebay shows sold listings that are a little cheaper than yours and some for a few dollars more. Also the Prestige sets that sold for less than $10 more than yours but include the other coins. I think you probably did about average, if not overpaid by just a bit. It wouldn't be worth the cost to get it graded. I'd just keep it in the OGP.
IMO, you did fine. Sure, some might be a little cheaper and some might be a little more expensive. For $25, whatever happens, you can't get hurt. I wouldn't bother with grading it. It's not going to change the value. If you want a graded coin, I'd buy one that way vs. raw.
What a beautiful coin, @Mike Drop. You don't want to sell that, anyway, you know that. Thanks for sharing. I love seeing these unusual ones in our collections.
Thank you, if your are curious, it was one of those "I have one more in the back room" type of buys if you get what I mean.
Mike? My advice is that if you want a coin graded (especially modern commems) buy it graded. Unless the strike is exceptional, sending in modern commems to be graded is a fools errand as most come in at '69 and there is little to no interest in the series except for a select few.........
