Very cool @galba68 - my chances of finding anything like this in the U.S. are slim and none. I wonder what the coins will clean up to be.
I wish I lived in a place with enough history to allow finding stuff like that. I pursued metal detecting as a hobby in the US for a couple of years, but after finding nothing but bottle caps and gum wrappers, it lost the appeal for me. This sucks because as a hobby, it's right up my alley (Outdoor activity, focus on history, satiates the treasure hunting instinct, etc, etc). Edit: In this context, History = History involving metal .
everyone thinks lm working with hi tech metal detector, with so many buttons, with this and that..and must be 100% expensive and fancy to show up..WRONG!!! l bought this one a few years ago and l would never change it..and cost me 200 dollars.. http://metaldetector-bg.com/index-en.html#
