The only reason I’m posting this coin is that for the amount of damage it has it is still in pretty good shape. I would think that there would be marks of some kind where it has been bent. So just wondering if this was done at the ment....thanks
yep, that's what happens when someone torches a zincoln. The zinc inside melts at a lower temperature than the copper plating, so the insides melt and the plating acts like a bag, until it cools enough to re-solidify.
