Excellent! Thanks, Jasper... and yay it includes information about wappenmünzen!

Very interesting attempt at correlating the iconographic types of wappenmünzen with the ten tribes of Attica. I especially like the horse hindquarters punning theory.

I always wanted an example of wappenmünzen but I'm too cheap. I don't even have an archaic tet yet but have not given up on that one. Who has wappenmünzen to share here?

Quick warning, mine wasn't free. To read for free you have to make a subscription to Amazon Unlimited, I was charged $2.99 and am trying to cancel.

Apparently not now. I was charged $2.99 and don't see any way to cancel since it is delivered electronically. Not a big amount, but a surprise.

So sorry. The free download ended last Saturday night and the regular price is $2.99. I have updated the "For Sale" Forum entry. Thanks again to all who commented.

Thanks so much Jasper, I do have Amazon Prime, and would have gladly paid for the book. After reading it, (I just ordered it free) I will probably buy the paperback. As a bibliophile I cant resist purchasing books for my library.
