1972-s double die

    I got a 1972s in change today and when i look at it through the loupe it looks like a double die obverse you can see it in all the words around the edge the problems are:
    1 there are no examples of this coin that i can refer to
    2 i cant get a picture thats good enough to see it in
    3 if i take it to a coin shop for verification will they just say its not in the book for that year so its worthless even though there are other ddo's in 1969-s , 1971-s , and 1972-p
    any and all help will be appreciated greatly

    Would you be able to post a pic man? There is a possibility it is a DDO, but there is also the possiblity that it is machine doubling. But to determine that we'll need a picture or two man. Good luck, and I hope for the best for you. :thumb:

    ok i got a couple of pic s i hope you can tell from em on the date the back double up and to the right slightl up and right on the liberty and on in god we trust it is above all of emalso has a small dot next to his eye like a partial eye

    1t looks more like the 1972p-1do-002 and the 1972p-1do-009 from that page
