Paid $12.00 at a indoor yard sale, I am just wondering about what was scratched out and if its close to a 60. I dont think it is, maybe 53-55. 1932P.jpg 1932PRev.jpg

That is probably a decent "net" grade for a coin with scratches that otherwise is probably 63-ish.

Im thinking I might send it to NGC, if its at least a 60. I know before everyone freaks out its not worth the fees, but i like to protect and preserve what I can for the long run. Thanks V. Kurt Bellman for your thoughts.

    The damage is already done.

The coin is fairly banged up, and is that a. scratch on the rev. rt. wing? This was probably a birth year coin but too many problems for the cost of grading.

Nice representation of the '32 (1st yr) coin.

What is that line going from the "A" to the eagles left foot? (or the one on Washington's lower neck, about 5 o'clock)? Would it be a staple scratch? (Hint: either crimp down those staples or put it in a non destructive holder).

I don't see this coin as MS but it's difficult through the flip.
Maybe after it comes out and soaks in acetone.

It won’t straight grade at NGC. Too many obvious scratches.

Still a mighty fine coin. Being a 32 makes me like it more better
