How PCGS determines pricing for their price guide

    The nine will follow the one up, though. It won't always be to the top, but it's that one consumer of the Kool-Aid that will drive that price up and won't get out until it reached the guide-price, and, as such, will take home the prize every time.

    Then the 9 clearly think it's worth up to what they bid. This is a real stretch that you're trying to argue

    Do you guys use the coin dealer gray sheet? I know things have changes but I thought their bid prices were pretty accurate.

    I have to agree, that going to a Baltimore Coin Show and stopping at that booth for some conversation or maybe even advice on grading some Morgan CC's. What a bunch of characters and you're right they are a bunch of snobs

    I believe NGC uses an outside service - Numismedia - for their price guides.
