    Dear Sir

I was very much surprised to find on my return to town that you had not paid the money to my clerk for clearing off Mr. Findlay's bill. It was again presented today by Mr. Williams Forbes and Gay, and if it is not settled tomorrow, it will be immediately returned to Perth. You will recollect that it was on your express request that the bill was sent here for payment & you promised that when it was presented you would immediately give me the money, which was left in your hands by Mr. Sinclair for the purpose of paying this bill. I shall therefore again send for it tomorrow morning, when I have you will pay the money, & I here authorize my teller to give you an acknowledgment for the same.

    I am Dear Sir
    yours truly
    Alex Scot

    D. Horne Esq.

The letter is addressed to D. Horne Esq., but I can't make out the actual address. It appears to be simply a city or location name.
