Can someone help me with this corn??

    This is a 2007 Utah quarter...uve seen this be or 20180402_142439.jpg , but is it worth hanging on to? 20180402_142510.jpg

    Tammy your coin is environmental damage, it appears that it was burried at some point. IMO

    Tammy, have you tried soaking it in Dawn dishwashing soap solution ? Some of what your pictures show is dirt, grime and some metal hazing due to soil adhesion and stuff. Might you tell us where'd you find it and more specifications as to how deep was it "stuck-in-its-position-debris"??

    I thought I was going to see a Wisconsin quarter due to the word "corn" in the title.

    It's currently worth 25 cents.
    If you hang on to it for a hundred years it should be worth at least 25 cents.

    I find coins like that metal detecting all the time :p

    It's just damaged and worth only 25 cents.

    yeah but in 100 years 25 cents will have the purchasing power that 1 or 2 cents does today, so it's really not worth hanging on to.
