Well I just stumbled upon these two as the wife is away and I've got sooooo much spare time on my hands:p;)

Looking at recent values achieved, I think I did pretty good at between 20-35% less than prices achieved at most recent sales. What do all you guys think??!!

Australia 1884M St. George Sovereign MS62. An MS63 sold way back in 2011 at HA for $1,380. I paid $750

South Africa 1892 Pond 'Double Shaft' MS62.

Both coins are not easy to find and very scarce in MS grade.

I thought you might like that one. Its a rare type and year and I'm now after a single shaft version but they are VERY priceyyyyy in any decent quality :p

Just to feel included, I have the same design in roller-damaged silver. I love SA coinage, but most of mine is nice and circulated. MIntages and MS survival numbers are low in South Africa, IMG_0632.JPG IMG_0633.JPG and in Copper: IMG_0634.JPG IMG_0635.JPG

Very nice Nathan. I need to get myself a Pond 'single shaft' when the other bidders are looking away :D:p;)

"Fairly decent" understatement in the title. ;)
