    These are common on 80's Lincoln's.

    I think the one thing that separates your coin, from an example that might sell for a buck or two, is luster. They need to cartwheel.

    Why does it look 1/4 inch thick? I'd buy it if that were true!

    There are folks here on the forum that have quite a spectacular collection of wood grain cents. That’s a cool looking cent. No huge value in it but certainly collectible! Nice find.
