I was thinking about appropriate coins that could fit with upcoming Easter in the next hours. Coming to my mind are colors or eggs or maybe angels. Then I found a relevant and easy one that would symbolize resurrection. It's PHOENIX. YeY.. Phoenix R.jpg Phoenix O.jpg

How about an Easter bunny? :D

    Rev: MEΣ within wreath
Ref: Caltabiano 569; SNG ANS 349

Of course, Byzantine coins have no shortage of Christ depictions.

Here's one with a funny overstrike:

    Romanus IV Diogenes, 1068-1071
    AE Follis
    10.57 g
    Constantinople
Obv: IC-XC over NI-KA to left and right of bust of Christ facing, dotted cross behind head, wearing pallium and colobium, holding book of Gospels with both hands
Rev: C-R P-Δ in the four angles of a cross with globe and two dots at each extremity, X in the centre. Ref: Sear 1866, DO-8

    Totally looks like...

I am afraid that I don't have a coin that qualifies, but how about a Roman Iron Crucifixion Nail.
