I have been collecting a bit in january but in febuary I spent a bit more than I usually do. I will not be collecting untill june as that is when I have my birth day. When I do I will go to the coin store again with a good list. Because I am low on money I am going to be painting sailing ships and selling them. Wish me luck and if you have an idea of a good coin I should get then I guess tell me.
A suggestion: prioritize what you want to buy (depending on what you’re collecting) and draw up a list. Stick to the list. Otherwise, you’ll be like a kid in a toy store. I speak from knowledge of myself: I seldom see a coin that I don’t want to buy!
Good luck with your collecting and painting - if you paint and sell one of these, you'll have plenty of spending ca$h
I intend to paint some high quality art, look up some pictures done by Gordon Grant, He is who inspired me to do the maritime stuff!
I sold my first painting about a week ago, My friend bought it for 10 dollars and I am going to get it to him soon! I have been making a ton of paintings and this will surely get me the money I need for new coins! This is the painting.
will do, here is the best one I have so far! Edit: This, when it sells will get me this one amazing large cent, my first one! Its 1842 and it has AU details and a nice even brown colour. As it is on the bidding wall (my coinstore guy is nice and lets me pick stuff off there for start price) for 48$!
