My logic is that most or all of the coins documented are gone, all collected, why do you think you get mostly error questions on new coins. I just want to find errors and try to trade them for silver rounds. Reset is going to pretty much wipe out collectors I'm sorry to say, most of you have been at it for many years. With the reset gold and silver value will be adjusted, very high I hope, I have heard gold at 2500.00 an ounce or more, have not heard on silver.

 

I can't wait.
Mexico will be one of the richest countries in the world .. with all their silver mines.

 

I could not agree more and all the more reason to stay positive and give the correct information. Error collecting is a niche group and I find all the misleading info to be atrocious. It puts a black eye on error collecting as a whole. I have to believe, that after some time with posts like these, eventually the posters will get the message, get a good book, watch some videos from the U.S. Mint about our coinage process, join a coin club and eventually learn. Maybe this is all wishful thinking but I am determined to teach and not shout. (Not talking about you).

You're in denial of the problem, Tommy, that's why you're so sanctimonious about it. We're the only coin forum that tolerates this, did you ever think of that? We not only tolerate it, but welcome it with open arms, and defend it when it's attacked. Try this at PCGS or NGC, see how far they get with those serious collectors. Try it at CONECA, or for that matter, the CoinCommunity. None of those forums would tolerate being taken over by these nut-jobs like we're tolerating it. So why are we so honored? That ought to tell you something.

 

You do realize that every other clown out there is hoping to do the same, right? Just replace "silver rounds" with whatever other goal and there's absolutely no difference (short forum headaches anyway).
