Just to be sure I know what you are after, the answer you are looking for for #3 is; 1. the number of ways different coins can be put together to total $1 i.e. 2 halves, 4 quarters, 10 dimes etc. 2. to include all coinage ever minted or just the modern circulating coinage 3. does not include a bill for a Sac for a presidential ........
Good point, thanks rlm, okay, all the ways possible to make a dollar with modern circulating coinage (including the half dollar even though it doesn't circulate as much) Does this clear it up? Phoenix
question ... #2.What was the year that the US mint required that all (????) made would be made of either Gold, silver, or copper? made what? coins, mint sets, jewelry
Oh, sorry, coins. "2.What was the year that the US mint required that all coins made would be made of either Gold, silver, or copper?" Phoenix
luc: Just a heads up man, please pm me your answer or answers to any of these questions, cause I won't count any that are posted man. Just so you don't miss out on points, and so some others might not copy answers or anything. Phoenix
i already PM'ed you my answers. i think its time we change dthe name of the contests to members who beat the mods contest
How big is your head today I think this quiz will show a large jump for the Mod's....the last part had a bunch of overgraded "junk", and it looks like some of the members must be graders for NTC or such Speedy
one ordinary memeber against a whole bunch of super mods where is clembo when you need him? Phoenix he calle dyour coins a bunch of overgraded junk. I think we have a disqualification and i work for SCS (speedy coin service) hahaha . this is so much fun
Is it safe to assume that you mean only Federal currency (issued by the BEP under authority of the USA)? Also, do we include anyone who has ever been a president of anything (their HS chess club, etc) or only the 43 gentlemen who have been elected President of the United States of America? I'm sorry to nit-pick, but your question is too vague and open to incorrect interpretation without further clarification. As stated, I would be a correct answer to your question because I was president of my college dorm for a year and I've taped my face onto some dollar bills and then tried to spend them as a prank. I'm certain that isn't what you meant.
One small problem there---I don't think those are coins that "phoenix" owns....because I'm sure he would have known better and wouldn't have bought them since they were overgraded SCS doesn't have any workers....I bet you meant SGS Speedy
Okay man, best of luck with work! Hope you can participate in this phase, I know a lot of people that are going to make some BIG advancements in this phase. The last phase was a tad unfair. But, I can assure you the next one will be REAL tricky, you have my word. Be careful not to get too cocky man, look at what happened to the cat. Oh wait, that was curiousity. Lol, okay, just be careful, we got some very knowledgeable mods and all, who will most likely advance a lot in this phase. Next phase is just going to be just down right mean though. Can't wait for that one. Phoenix
*sob* *sob* *whimper* *cry* cry*) If you think my coins are junk, then I think we do have a disqualification. Just joking. Those coins are far from my coins, although wouldn't mind having a few of the cents. But I do agree, those coins were really overgraded, but I wanted to add a bit of a curve. Next time I do a grading thing though I'll make it a little more fair. Maybe. Lol, he must have not wanted to help you guys, might be secretly working for the mods! Just joking. Hey clembo, seems like they need you if you are out there! Phoenix
Ahh, thanks for pointing that out cave troll. Thanks man. Okay, to specify, let me reword the question: Name all of the Presidents of the United States of America to ever have been featured on paper money printed by the BEP under the authority of the United States of America. Is that a bit better? That's fine, I know what you mean, but others might take what I had down for the question wrong. Thanks man. :thumb: You got that right. If I got a real awesome deal though, like $10 a piece, then they would sure as heck be in my collection. But that's probably just plain dreaming. Mabe see what Jim can find with his metal detector.
