I know it's not a us dollar but still a nice error I think. Could someone give me an estimate of the worth of this error coin ? The date is missing the number 1 so it is 984 instead of 1984 . The state of the coin is not so great but not bad at all. I couldn't find an error like this on the Web. So anyone who could help with an price estimate ? It is worth to send it for grading ?
It is a grease filled die. Very common in US coins, and sadly I'm sure it's the same for Czechoslovakian coins. I would imagine no premium for this coin. And no, you shouldn't get it graded.
Mint Errors are attributed not graded. Coin Slabbing companies such as NGC or PCGS don't attribute minor issues such as on your coin. Not worth it.
