1968 D Penny. Rare? Value?

    Trying to figure some kind of reference to a value or worth? What kinda of errors? Im stuck View attachment 757858

    Maybe owned by a roofer? Environmental damage is what I see

    The first thing I do when I get a dirty coin with gunk on it is soak it in 100% acetone (pure nail polish remover with no scents or dies). It will not hurt your coins and will take off a lot of the gunk just by letting it soak overnight. If you need to give it a little help, you can lightly prick off debris with a rose thorn which is soft enough it will not harm the coin. I don't rub my coins with anything because it can leave fine hairlines which lower the value of the coin.

    Thank u that actually helps is you for coins for older coins 1865 and so on?
