Any idea what my 1943 steel wheat penny is worth? It appears to have a cud error on the "RTY" in liberty and the top edge of the "we trust" seems to be printed on the rim of the coin. I didn't see anything of note on the back. It's in great condition. photos 1-3 thanks everyone, I'm a newbie
First worry about what you might have.. Value is last. It's not a CUD. It looks like a minor Die Break or Die Chip. They don't have a huge premium. But it's interesting to be seen on a Steel Cent.
Nothing major. Looks like circulation wear damage By the way.. Coins are struck/minted.. not printed. Paper Currency is printed.
Just for you to know.. A CUD is a Die Break that involves the Rim or Edge of a coin. Here is a webpage that shows what CUDs are - http://cuds-on-coins.com
