    My favorite coin is the walking liberty half dollar. Specifically, 1926 walking liberty. My mom have me that coin before I deployed to Iraq not only as a talisman, but also to remind me of the history of the US. As for my quote:

    Check the date of the original post. This contest is almost a year old, and ended a long time ago.

    I see you've entered my March 2018 giveaway as well- on THAT one you've still got a shot. ;)

    I've done it myself. Forgotten to check the last pages of a thread to see the most recent post(s), typed a reply to the original post, and then realized I'm on a zombie thread, participating in a conversation that ended years ago.

    Which is fine, sometimes. Some old conversations can be revisited and given new life. But others, like giveaways and contests, have a finite shelf life.
