Marks Between Date...Error?

    1971 half dollar
    I noticed marks between the date, and a few marks on the side. I am wondering if this is an error, or normal wear and tear from circulation.

    Your photo is way over pixelated but it appears to be coin rolling damage. It goes across the numerals also, not just in between.

    I agree with tommyc, looks like a roll crimping machine caused the lines around the outside edge.

    Automatic Coin rolling machine marks up coins just like that.

    Hey it's one of those pics that float around here on CT so it might be paddyman98 hand in it, that's where he keeps all those error coins oh wait it's to small (safe) that's the safe paddy needs to store his coins. Lol
