I don't think so. The 'clip' seems too irregular to me and not the same arc as a dime. No Blakesly effect, either. Does another dime fit snugly in the clip?

OK....will do! (On a side note....I am super curious as to how this coin got to be in this state... it's so wierd ....if it didn't happen during minting, how could it end up this way? Any ideas on that?)
I'm thinking I'll keep it, just because it is unique...in it's own way. lol I'm new to coin collecting, and am really enjoying the discovery & learning process!
