    Looks like someone took a brillo to it. Would be very unfortunate had this been a genuine coin rather than a crude copy as it appears to be.

    It does look off. The coins feels like an actual gold coin. Any chance it’s real gold at least

    It could be a solid gold jewelers copy and might even be full 90% fineness. Of course it wouldn't have any collector value beyond bullion.
