I got this coin in a lot of uncleaned Roman coins , and I do not know what the coin is or was. It look as if it has worn around the outer edge some. It approx. 20mm in diameter, and weighs approx. 3.4 grams. I tried putting what info off the coin into a coin search site but no luck . Thanks everyone.

Hey Dillan I think you might be better to post that in ancient coin forum, you might get a better response. JMHO

I did not think that the coin was an ancient rather a more modern coin perhaps 1800s soI did not know if that was the proper place to put it or not. Thank you , if I do not get a decent result here I will move over to the other section, thank you very much. dillan

I come up with Austria-Habsburg 1 Kreutzer Josepph II (1780-1790)
    Lettering: IOS·II·D·G·R·I·S·A·GE·HV·BO·REX·A·A·

Hope this helps you zero in on your specific coin - the poor condition makes it difficult to tell the date or denomination - 1 Kreutzer weighs 7.4 g. and measures 24 mm - if it's lighter & smaller, it may be a fractional denomination.

Thank you ,I did find it from the info thanks to wcoins (member) , and to you and the others for the help . Yo are correct it is a 1/2 Kreutzer . the date is worn off . I know there is no monetary value , but it was fun finding it and getting help to identify it . The date is some where in the late 1790s . I will package it put it with my oddity collection for a conversation item. The Hunt Continues . thanks everyone!!
