while bag sorting some kennedy 40% halves i found 32 that have a double die on the reverse i want to sell some would it be worth it or should i just keep em and wait to sell em the local coin shop offered scrap price
well, from the pix, it --at first blush -- appears to be ordinary mechanical doubling. However, the "A" and "R" seem to have a split running through them. They also seem to be the normal width. With that degree of spread I would expect the stars to show some doubling if it were a doubled die. The pix are very blurry and this can't be seen in the pix. better pix are needed to make better observations. Sorry.
I agree the pics need to be better, but I'm inclinded to say mechanical doubling based on what we have.
