Ok i know this isn't coin roll hunting, but i cant find the strap searchers thread. Plus, I'm generally a coin collector anyway so this strap search wasn't on purpose.

I work at a library and we were holding a bake sale last week. I asked my coworker to pick up $100 in singles so we could make change. She comes back from the bank with a stack of singles, the newest one being from 2003. There were many crisp nice 1988-2001 notes that i couldn't give up.
Out of the 100 i kept 70 and used the rest as change was needed. I thought that was a fun find.
While counting all the money collected, there were 2 wheats, 3 canadian cents, 10 euro cents, and 5 indian rupies. I took them and replaced them with a dollar. That was a good day at work!

Today I picked up 4 more boxes, once again 3 of them skunks, Box 4 was nice to me a little, I pulled 2 pieces of silver 1-40%er and 1-90%er also 4-Clad Proofs, and 1-NIFC Satin finish 2009D. Here are the dates, 1-66 and [IMG] 1-11S Silver Proof[IMG], Clad Proofs 2-99S, 1-01S, 1-09S. Its always nice to find a Silver Proof. That is my second 2011S Silver Proof I have found.

Pulled my 2nd 1944 P war nickel out of a roll today, that’s two War nickels in 2 days! and a 54S hole filler.

Found a nice toned nickel, photo really doesn’t do the bluish tint Justice. It’s a really dark navy blue tint with red/orange spot over his forehead.

3 boxes of halves yielded two 64's and eight 40%ers.

Nice to break the 12 box skunk streak.

Way to hang in there. 12 boxes is pretty disheartening.

Yeah, after 10 skunks in a row you start wondering what the hell you are doing. Glad I soldiered through it.

Found a 1941 quarter today out of $700 worth CWR. Silver quarters are an elusive bunch!

over the last two days, 3 boxes of dimes = absolutely nothing...my record for a box so far is 5. Seems its either feast or famine. I went to return the last batch of dimes and found this in the teller tray. So the day wasn't a total loss.

Got a call earlier this AM from the girls at my bank. They had some rolls turned in this AM I might want. All for face! An unopened roll of BI-CI D quarters, a P and D unopened roll of 2003 Ohio quarters, and 5 rolls of Buffalo nickels by date. IMG_0650.JPG

The 37's are Philadelphia, not Denver. All the rolls
    are Phili coins.

I totally agree. Two days ago at my bank I went for a small role hunts picking up seven rolls of nickels. The teller wound up giving me two extra dollars one full roll extra without noticing. So when I got to my car I realized I had an extra roll. I quickly ran through the roll for keepers and returned it to the teller. He was totally unaware of the mistake. The next day I returned to pick up some rolls and spoke with him. He said “ with that extra roll , his count was perfect” - meaning without it he would have been short 2$. He was definitely greatful. It isn’t worth losing a good relationship over 2$, that’s for sure!
