A few single year types from some of my favorites:

Albania had a few single year types, including this 1926 10 qindar leku:



1870-1871 were the first years of Western style milled coinage in Japan. There were several iterations that resulted in 1 year types, like this 1871 'large character' 5 sen. It wasn't even the only 5 sen minted that year, and has a couple variants to boot. This lowly 5 sen doesn't get shown off quite as much:


And, one of my personal favorites--kind of easy as it was one year/2 denomination run, in total, until a new government reorganization came around.
